UX Team Lead for College Graduating Class Website

Tools: Adobe XD
Role: UX Team Leader

This website is for our graduating class of design Minneapolis Community and Technical College 2021. Different aspects of its creation were broken down into tasks to be completed by teams of student designers, from the look and logo to web development to UX design. I requested to be on the UX team. The faculty asked me if I wanted to lead the team and I accepted.

User Research:

I had each member of the team, including myself, conduct two to three of their own user interviews after the users had explored the website from last year by the graduating class of Minneapolis Community and Technical College design class of 2020. The main questions centered around what the users liked and didn't like about using the site.

Here we mapped out the skeleton of the website as well as it's connectivity and basic user flow.

Building Prototypes on Adobe XD:

We were given high-fidelity wireframes and their assets for desktop and mobile made by the visual design team. We built the prototypes on Adobe XD and then added interactivity. Once we were finished, the prototypes were given to the development team.
